Complete Right-click Menu Guide
Photocatalyst's core operations are concentrated in the right-click menu. Photo grid, preview mode, person/album/geography, and other views each have their own right-click menus.
1. Photo Grid Right-click Menu
In any view displaying photo thumbnails, right-click a photo to open the full context menu (listed in actual display order).
1. Preview
Enter full-screen photo previewer, supporting zoom (1x~6x), rotation, drag-to-pan, and left/right navigation.

3. Copy

4. Set as Cover
Set the current photo as the cover image of its album/person album.
Only shown when there is a context that can have a cover set.

7. Add to Album

8. Add to Location
Dynamically list all existing geographic locations, click to associate selected photos with that location.
9. Save Current Search as Album
Save all photos in the search results as an album with one click.
Only shown on the search results page.
10. Face Reassignment
Reassign faces in selected photos to a specified person. Opens the face assignment dialog:
- Left panel: List of selected face thumbnails (multi-select supported)
- Right panel: Target person list (supports name search filtering)
- Provides "Smart face selection" auto-matching feature
- Provides "Show only selected" filtering feature
Only shown when at least one selected photo contains faces.
11. Find Photos from Same Time

12. Find Similar Photos

13. Search Photos in Same Folder
Jump to folder browsing view, showing all photos in the same folder.
Not available when already in that folder view.

15. Search Photos at Same Location
Find photos taken at the same location based on GPS coordinates.
Only available when the photo contains GPS information.

Ctrl+A. When cross-page selection is enabled, cross-page selection count is also considered.
17. Export Photos

18. Move to Trash
Soft-delete selected photos, moving them to the trash (recoverable).

19. Delete from Disk
Move photo files to the operating system's recycle bin (in desktop mode), rather than immediate destruction. Can still be restored from the system recycle bin afterwards.
20. Remove from Current Album
Only shown when browsing inside an album. Remove photos from the album (does not affect original files or other albums).
2. Right-click in Photo Preview
In preview mode, in addition to the standard photo right-click menu, you can also interact directly with face annotation boxes.

The folder tree does not use right-click menus; operations are performed via inline buttons:
- Click folder name: Jump to folder browsing view
- Click × button (shown on hover for top-level folders): Remove this folder from the software
9. Sidebar Menu (not right-click, triggered by click)
Click the sidebar top menu icon (≡) to access:
